Later that afternoon, visit to the city center and see the gilded 2,500 year-old Sule Pagoda (a magnificent octagonal golden pagoda which is said to enshrine a hair of Buddha). Then, you will visit the beautiful colonial-style buildings surrounding Mahabandula Park, take a tour of the Naga (hand blown) Glass Factory and stroll through the quaint and narrow streets of Chinatown including the short visit to Tao Temple. Spend the night at your hotel in Yangon.

Day – 02: Yangon – Sittwe – Mrauk U (by flight, car & boat)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the Yangon airport for your flight to Sittwe. Upon arrival at the Sittwe airport, you will be transferred to a jetty for your departure to Mrauk U by a private boat. It will take about 5 to seven hours (depending on the river current and the boat) to get Mrauk U. Upon your arrival at the Mrauk U jetty, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the night at your hotel in Mrauk U. (The following is a short history of Mrauk U: Mrauk U was a capital city founded by King Min Saw Mon in 1430. It was the last capital of the powerful Rakhine Kings where the Rakhine had its full bloom. There were 48 kings in the Mrauk U dynasty, which was ruled for 355 long years. This great city was built in a beautiful valley surrounded by high mountain ranges (as was described by Manrique, who was a Portuguese missionary in Mrauk U in 1630). Unfortunately, the city of Mrauk U came to its end when there were two serious earthquakes in 1761 and 1762 that destroyed it. In 1784, Rakhine was occupied by the Burmese King Bodawpaya. Afterwards, several important historical events occurred which were the Anglo-Myanmar War and the Rantapo Treaty in which Rakhine and Tennessarim were annexed making Rakhine part of India).

Day – 03: Mrauk U full day sightseeing (by car)
After having an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Mrauk U Market. You will have an opportunity to observe firsthand the lifestyle of local people. Next, you will go to the Archaeological Museum where you will see ancient stone slabs and artifacts as well as a model of Mrauk U with the palace site. You will proceed to the Koethaung Pagoda, which has 90,000 Buddha Images and is surrounded by rice paddy fields and then visit the Pisei Pagoda. King Kawliya built this pagoda in 1123 A.D. The pagoda contains a relic of Buddha. Later, the pagoda was damaged, and afterwards, the kings of Mrauk-U Dynasty repaired it. You will next proceed to Ketsekan Lake (the royal hand-washing lake). You will visit the Shittaung Temple, whichname means "Shrine of 80,000 Images". It was built in 1535 and is the best preserved of many monuments. Situated near the Shittaung Temple on a small hill is the Andaw Thein Pagoda (meaning the tooth relic of Buddha), which was built by King Min Hla Raza in 1521 to enshrine a tooth relic brought from Sri Lanka by King Minbin. Next, you will visit the Rakhine Museum where one of the exhibits shows the sixty-four various kinds of hairstyles that the local women have worn throughout their history.
